AUFD was established in (BVI). The AUFD is managed by an elected International Board of Trustees and Council members. AUFD is an Educational Foundation. It is an independent, autonomous, non-government and not-for-profit body. The Foundation will seek participation of like-minded academicians, scientists, experts, researchers, scholars and organizations and create a strong knowledge and asset base.

The management team is different from Ansted University Educational Board of Governors and Honorary Advisory Council members. The said department's purpose is to support Ansted University financially in the area of project development fund including campus set up fund, grant programmes for research studies and is proud to continue the tradition with its sponsorship of the Ansted University publication. Ansted University also receives fund and is supported by various grant from other organizations around the world to fund the following activities;

• Activities that increase mutual understanding and tolerance for diversity
• Activities that sustain the vitality of artistic traditions in changing contexts
• Activities that aim to preserve, document or increase public access to tangible and intangible culture
• Activities that address common problems requiring international cooperation and etc.
• To Promote World Peace through cultivating of Social Responsibility practice
• To promote centres of excellence and knowledge corridors and entrepreneurship in education, training and research

The grant amount will be decided upon consideration of each project scale and necessity. Ansted has links with industry providing a significant source of funding for the Faculty and potential career benefits for higher degree research candidates.

With regards to the establishment of Ansted University , Prof. Dr. Roger Haw personally has spent more than 10 years and countless hours of research since 1990 . This includes sending out more than 50 0,000 letters and emails to all level of professional worldwide, various types of accrediting agencies, government and non-government bodies, institutions, business corporations, associations, individuals, etc. This alone cost him a couple of hundred thousands of dollars of his personal financial capacity in researching education needs, which also excluded some of the grants given by organizations to the Ansted Foundation.

Prof. Roger Haw has teamed up with a group of educationists from various countries to initiate Ansted University with the main objective of promoting " Peace through education for the needy. " Consequently, he has finally decided to frame the word " WILL TO SUCCEED " as a motto for Ansted University.

Prof. Dr Roger Haw's opinion is that today's education is getting more and more expensive . So, we should anticipate the overall external force for change is growing rapidly . We hope the Ansted Foundation fund can also help and solve problems for those having financial difficulty, assist students in the poor countries in pursuing the desired degree qualifications. The Board of Ansted University has agreed to contribute part of the revenue to be put into the Ansted Foundation fund for the needy. Further, this will enhance Ansted University 's reputation and also able to gain more respect from other renowned bodies and parties.
